Synopsis: During the Great Depression, a creative writer, Tom, is devastated at the loss of his beautiful bride to be and inspiration, Mellisa. He becomes a hopeless drunk for years.
While visiting Mellisa's grave, Tom stumbles upon what is lodged in an old typewriter: Hollywood's formulaic version for successful script writing. This seduces Tom into a frenzy of demonic writing, which he feels shall set him free from his plight. Instead, Tom assaults his own sensitivity by going against his creative instincts... a helacious battle between good and evil ensues... between the Hollywood machine and poetic script writing.
