Synopsis: During the American Civil War, a Confederate captain (Hornblower) suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, forcing him to confront his role in the war. Charged with behaviour unbecoming an officer, the captain is given one final chance to redeem himself. A mission takes the captain to the C.S.S. Neusse ironclad gunboat and into the swamps of the North Carolina wilderness. There, Hornblower finds himself and more...

Filming for Secession Path began in December, 2005. Shot with many time, and technical/logistic constraints, there were many problems to be worked out. So, it has taken until 2008 to finally complete Secession Path and the accompanying 25-minute documentary, Guerilla Film Secession Path.

Spanning four states and four re-enactments, there are several epic moments to Secession Path, although it cost less than $2,000 to make. The film and the documentary total about 60 minutes, and as a 2-piece deal, my hope is to find distribution for the films via a cable channel, or the like.
