John Hartman	John Hartman is an independent director, cinematographer, editor, and visual artist, who brings extensive time spent in Bulgaria to our company, Filming in Bulgaria. John speaks Bulgarian and considers the country his second home. Bulgaria has heavily influenced both his artwork and filmmaking. John works as director of photography for projects across the USA, including music videos, documentaries, and narrative projects. Through his own production company, groovyfilms.biz, John enjoys making art house and experimental films. With his unique visual eye, John is Filming in Bulgaria's creative liaison to our client directors and directors of photography. John is a former public school teacher and holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Regis University. He also works extensively with Zee and Unfolding Story Pictures, and will be co-director and director of photography for their upcoming feature project scheduled to shoot in Bulgaria in the fall of 2007. John and Simeon have been best friends for more than fifteen years.
Simeon Koschavski	Simeon Koschavski was born and raised in Bulgaria. Simeon holds dual citizenship with the USA and spent nine years there in his late 30s. He speaks fluent English, Bulgarian, and several other languages. Simeon is a former military officer, an engineer, mechanic, and independent filmmaker. Based in Sofia, Simeon serves as location scout, transportation and security officer, translator (Bulgarian, English, German, Russian), and head of hospitality for Filming in Bulgaria. Simeon and John have been best friends for more than fifteen years.
C.G. "Zee" Zarbock	C.G. Zarbock, or "Zee" (left) as she prefers to be called, holds an MBA degree from the University of Denver and is General Manager of Filming in Bulgaria. She is an award-winning independent director, producer, screenwriter, and editor. She works in both documentary and narrative forms, and owns two production companies, Unfolding Story Pictures and Ziamar Film. She also works extensively with John Hartman and groovyfilms.biz. Zee has traveled the world and lived for two years in Greece and three years in Australia. Her current projects include a documentary feature on mental health issues, and a feature-length film scheduled for production in Bulgaria in the fall of 2007, with co-director John Hartman. Zee is the latest addition to the group, having joined in more than two years ago.
